River Lantern is a collection of illustrations capturing deep truth in the currents of life and a space to pause and wonder.

The Heart Behind the Name "River Lantern":

Rivers have always fascinated me. They ebb and flow, change courses, smooth rocks, cut paths, reach crevices, carry nourishment along the way, but truth remains the constant light, faithfully guiding the traveler. Rivers always come from somewhere...on their way to another place. In every starry night and morning dawn, light reveals the colors and story of the river below.

In the beginning, a river flowed out of the Garden of Eden before the world was marred by our sin. But redemption is coming. We capture hints in waters we cross in the waiting. Scripture closes out with the image of a bright river flowing from the throne of God, reminding us where this river has always been headed.

So it seemed appropriate to name this space River Lantern as we navigate the mountain pass of our generation. At times, we hit white water's intensity. Other times, we rest by the riverbank. No telling all that’s ahead, but we hold onto Truth that lights the path. Sometimes we need to get still to remember what’s always been true in Him. This art is meant to aid that journey.
